How trust works on SureSell
SureSell is built around one question: can you prove you are who you say you are?
01
Phone verification
Every trader confirms a real, working phone number with a one-time code before they can post a single listing. This alone removes most throwaway scam accounts.
02
ID verification (optional)
Traders can submit a Ghana Card or other government ID for review to earn the "Fully Verified" badge — the strongest signal of trust on the platform.
03
Confirmed deal history
A trader's track record is built only from deals a real buyer has confirmed — not from claims the trader makes about themselves.
Staying safe when you trade
- Always meet in a public place for goods handovers where possible.
- Inspect an item in person before paying — never pay in full for something you haven't seen.
- Be cautious of prices that seem far below market value paired with pressure to pay quickly.
- Use the "Report this listing" link if anything feels wrong — every report is reviewed.
